Call to Draw Near

Song of Songs 2:14
“O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the crannies of the cliff,
let me see your face, let me hear your voice,
for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.
Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards for our vineyards are in blossom.”

Beloved, I am calling you to come aside into the secret place, into the quiet place, to spend time with Me. This is a journey of the heart, where your heart meets Mine.

Jesus said, in Matt 6:6, “But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”

I am calling you up higher. Be intentional, say yes to my call and be intentional about saying no to those things that take your heart and attention away from me. Where do those distractions come from? Identify them, take note of them. Ask yourself, how will those things produce the fruit that I am looking for?

There are many things in the world that are vying for your time and attention. The news, social media and many other platforms are creating noises and voices competing for your attention. These are to be silenced, if you are to listen to My voice clearly. I am calling you to set your heart on things above and not upon earthly things. Remember, you are free to hear my voice. Remember, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” I am the One who calls you in the hidden places, “Let me see your face, let me hear your voice”. Together we will run in those things that bring fruitfulness, love and intimacy. I am the place of your abiding, your dependence upon me is for the purpose of calling forth fruit. Together we will run, being united in that which I am calling to you – it is always found in relationship with me. In that place, you will call and I will answer. Your concerns I will respond to.

Are there foxes stealing into our vineyard to spoil the fruit? These may be little things, often going unnoticed, but continue to steal away fruitfulness. Together we will deal with them. Let me take them from you. Just as little foxes appear attractive in the natural, so these things often appear to bring help and comfort to you. Whatever these may be, I will highlight them to you, so that we can remove them from our place of fruitfulness. Even of those things that seem difficult to let go of, yet if you are willing, they will release fruitfulness and the aroma of My Presence in you.

I am calling you higher into places of calling, of effectiveness, of authority. Remember, this is a journey of the heart that is formed in relationship with Me. Trust Me, lean upon Me, and I will bring you into realms that you hardly dared to believe.
