Call Together - Carriers of My Presence
1 Chronicles 12:22
“For from day to day men came to David to help him, until there was a great army, like an army of God.
1 Chronicles 12:38
“All these, men of war, arrayed in battle order, came to Hebron with full intent to make David king over all Israel.
Beloved, I am bringing you together in community, those of you who are joined in pursuit of me, who are willing to wage war in the spheres that you contend in. As you lay your hearts before me, you will become the burning ones who long to see Jesus set in his rightful place in your midst. As your hearts become inflamed in love for me, so I will knit you together to fulfil my mandate over your lives. Like the army of the Lord that came to make David their king. They were joined and united in heart to see the Lord be king over their hearts, their lives, their families, their communities, and ultimately the nation and the nations. Such was their affection for their king. It united them to see him honoured in his rightful position.
As the army of the Lord came together to make David king, he called for the Ark of the Lord to be returned to its place of centrality in the life of Israel. So you too, I call to be Carriers of the Ark of My Presence, a company of priestly warriors who carry My Presence. You too, I am calling to shoulder the weight of my glory, the weight of My Presence, with reverence and awe. Position your hearts toward me in fearful awe and loving wonder, toward the One who will captivate your affections.
Once again, there will be a shout in the camp – not the shout of presumption, but the shout of victory. As you allow me to take the territory of your hearts, it will pave the way to extend the territory of influence and authority in the lives of others. This is for those of you who desire to come under my rule, my banner. Submit yourselves to me. In love serve one another. Be united. Be of one heart with me. Be in one accord with one another. I am the One who walks in the midst of the camp.
Numbers 10:35-36 “And whenever the ark set out, Moses said, ‘Arise, O Lord, and let your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate you flee before you.’ And when it rested, he said, ‘Return, O Lord, to the ten thousand thousands of Israel.’”
There will be opposition but my kingdom has a common enemy, so allow yourselves to close up ranks in me, so that you will be united in heart and purpose. It’s My Presence that will go before you and it is My Presence that is to rest upon your hearts. Be strong and courageous, and set your hearts in a place of love to cover one another.
