The first commandment is love

Matt 22:37-40

God is asking us today, who is going to love my lost and broken children?

I asked Holy Spirit once, how do I be a witness to the people I meet and make a difference at work? And He said, “give them eye contact, and smile”. To me this seemed too simple. But to God, even something as simple as eye contact and a smile reflects His heart and can break through people’s walls and soften people’s hearts ready to receive His love. Because in reality, His eyes are always on us and He smiles over us; we are just reflecting what He is already doing.

With many of these people at work, I’ve now had the opportunity to tell them about Jesus and some of them I’ve been able to pray for!

The most profound thing about Almighty, All-Powerful Creator God is that He passionately and intimately cares, knows and loves us. What a privilege it is to learn how to love like He does and to release it wherever we go. Love can melt a thousand barriers.

Love is the most powerful thing, and we have been given endless amounts to pour out.

Who has God called you to love today? What does that look like?

Sit with The Father and let Him reveal to you His heart in this, and then go out into all the world.

The Spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon you to preach good news to the poor, bind up the broken hearted, set captives free, release prisoners from darkness, comfort all who mourn, bring beauty from ashes, joy instead of mourning, and praise from despair.

Isaiah 61:1-3

Let’s not waste a single moment to love.
